2000 RC 51 Details and more pix relisted
It was suggested on other thread I add details and more pix well here you go.
I purchased this bike in July 1012 from the first owner, he had plans on keeping it forever. Hard times forced the sale, he gave me the literature you see in the picture, magazine articles, brochures, owners manual, both keys and passenger pillion. I have the rear passenger pegs also that are not shown in the pictures. These photos were taken a week ago. The bike had 18,XXX miles when I purchased it there are now 20,XXX...Oil changes were made regularly by prior owner as valves were checked but no adjustment was necessary. I have changed oil and stabilized fuel as necessary. He had also put an air cleaner in and changed plugs. It has spent its entire existence in a garage and has never been down. He had kept it stock,, as it still is, because as a collector bike as time goes on stock is always better than backyard mechanic modifications. I did replace battery, it had the original when I purchased it and it was getting weak. The bike runs spot on. I have several bikes and this one did not get used as much as I had expected so that is reason for letting it go. If there are any other questions I will be pleased to answer. Biggest flaw are scratches on cowl cover it blew off and got minor scratches.
