Clean or salvage title? Was the repaint due to cosmetic damage?

It was repainted to look new. Never down, no damage.
I pulled the motor due to light lower bore scratches and decided to do a bunch of upgrades and along the way painted all the years scratches and bumps and buffs away from it.
This bike is smokin as Joe said.
I can't believe it hasn't sold at this lower price.

What a shame these relics of yesteryear racing have not been able to gain money in the years.

The suspension upgrades alone cost me $3000

Okay, I will mull this over so I don't make an impulse purchase.

It hasn't sold because humans make emotional, not rational decisions. Nothing wrong with your asking price. I have been looking at bikes for two months and now have come full circle. Had to come off the emotional nonsense and get back to logical decision making.

Thanks for the owner response.

Nice bike AMP. A couple months ago a guy in Salem, Oregon had an '05 with 7k original miles. Had some nice Moriwaki, or Yoshimura pipes on it, plus all the stock parts. He was asking 8k. Bike was flawless. It was listed for about two weeks. Either he sold it, or pulled it til Spring. I'd like to pick up a black one. Good luck on the sale.

Very nice RC. What sort of gains did you see with the +2mm pistons?
