Choosing the right type of helmet of the right size is one of the most important steps every rider should take when preparing for the next riding season. When the helmet fits you well, it sits snugly on your head providing you with comfort and protection in case of a crash. If your helmet feels a bit loose, it may mean that the Styrofoam liner inside had degraded to the point it could no longer provide the highest possible level of protection.
