Next time I take off one of our wheels, I can check the thickness of the caliper bracket... May be a while though, as it'll be months before we get it running at the rate we're going...
Then again, I need to fit my underslung sometime, so sooner than later would be a good idea since I have all the bits. Time is the thing I find myself shortest of, as there's always other stuff (unrelated to bikes - which are really & purely just a hobby) to do!
....Ah, I wonder if the SP2 underslung is the same thickness as the original? Should be - right - or would that be too much of an (easy) assumption?

Measured the SP2 gap (the 267mm distance on the SP1's swingarm)
Guess what.......it's 268mm
So why the longer pivot?????
The only different part on the SP2, except the swingarm, is the caliper mounting bracket......perhaps it is thicker?
Could you measure Carlos' bracket for comparison if you get your hands on it sometime?

Don't take it all on yourself buddy....if you'd asked me, I'd tell you the same so I would've been wrong too.
Please guys, any other measurements you need, now is the right time that everything is apart.
I still wonder though Miguel,......SP1 and SP2 swingarms are supposedly the same in width. They differ in length......at least that what I thought, up until now!

They have different part numbers

Since I have to make the two front spacers fully customized sized for my fork settings, I'decided I'll have the rear made too.
I will go with 7075 aluminum alloy (same material as the Kyle Link) for both wheel pivots as well as the swingarm pivot.
That way there isn't the slightest possibility of fusing the pivot together with the collar due to corrosion, salty moisture or anything else.
And the 7075 is very strong alloy which makes it perfect for manufacturing pivots and axles. And it ain't that expensive either.

SP1 rear wheel's pivot measurements
Since I have on my bench, I did a couple of measurements to have them on my record.
I don't think they differ from the SP2 at all but I was measuring an SP1's parts.
