mr305 The map supposedly came from Dynojet, but I've not been able to find it on their site. I'll be glad to send you a copy. It is for a PCIIIR. PM me or send me your email. I don't remember if I mentioned it, but I'm running the longer bell mouths on both throttle bodies and have fabricated an air cleaner with a K&N element that goes where the bird screen that came with the airbox went. Also, I had to add some additional weather strip on the rubber seal in order to get a really proper seal with the tank.

The CBR wheels are a pound or so lighter each, than the RC51 wheels. Mine are from an '05 Repsol that I put Carrozzeria wheels on. The rear is a virtual swap, using the RC51 spacers, but the front is a little more complicated. The CBR front axle is larger in diameter than the RC51 so the bearings need to be changed. Unfortunately the correct size bearings are thicker than the RC bearings. I can't remember exactly but they are two or three mm thicker. They go into the wheels fine and the bearing seals fit, but will stick out by the two or three mm. To get the wheel to center properly, the RC51 spacer on the right hand side will need to be shortened by the two or three mm. I've run this setup for about 4 years on the street and several track days and have had no problems. A bonus is that the RC51 brake disks bolt right on with no issues.

PC Map

Did it come from Dynojet ? Or how can I get it from you to try ? Also I see you have CBR1000RR wheels. Are they lighter ?

Thanks,

Alan

mr305 I have one that I got from a friend, for the Jardine RT1 that works great. I'm going to have to look for a new one because I just purchased a full titanium HRC replica system.

Power Commander Map for Turn One Air Box and Snorkel

What PC map do you use for the Turn One Air Box ?

sr2-e The decisive is, this anyway it works.
This air box can almost always look only same.

Das Entscheidende ist doch, das es funktioniert.
Diese Airbox kann fast immer nur gleich aussehen.

fishfire Yes its a copy, and Brett has never denied this. In his own words, he has said if he developed this air box, it would have been exactly the same!

Why should you feel obliged to buy this airbox from the original designer, when someone else has produced the exact same item for less? Im all for saving pennies where you can!

Anyway, Brett can be contacted here:

or, if thorsten had not spent his time and money to fab it first then Brett would have nothing to steal and copy.

I am all for copying a product and for saving money but talking down the innovator of a product and then talking up a copier are not realistic IMO
