New ride- Honda 919

So I picked up a new toy over the weekend.....I know this is RC51 media, however, the RC does make an appearance towards the end.

2003 Honda 919
20,000 mi
Aftermarket bars
900rr headers
Danmoto exhaust
Undertail (which means he used a reciprocating saw)

Here's what it looked like when I bought it:

About 2 hrs later it looked like this:

I saw some photos of HeliMech and some other bikes on here and I really liked them. Thanks to plastidip I was able to do this very easily, and if I get sick of the matte white look, I can peel it all off.

I had to do the headlight unit, I hate all the chrome on there:

Here are some photos of the handlebars. The kid said he bought them from a company in Ohio, he couldn't remember the name:

Danmoto exhaust, sounds good:

Next I want to get a CustomLED tail light, and make the 6 spoke wheel conversion.

Cool, dude! A naked (almost) bike! More bikes = better. Right??!

Looks nice, and having another Honda is always a plus ;)

HEY! Was that a dig?! :o :p ;)

I don't believe it! I have a whole new respect for that bike.
That's the same bike my riding buddy rode with last weekend at Berryessa. He was a good rider, and man, that bike can keep a fast pace. He had his all built with RaceTech internals and cbr600 inverted forks, twin Sato's, PCIII, and Q3's.

Yours looks good sitting right next to the RC51. Nice work. :)

You should hear LDH carry on about the candy apple green version of the 919...he loves these bikes.

They aren't overpowering but very capable.

An idiom. About the same as a rib.
