History
Born the same year as me, I couldn't pass up this bike when a buddy offer to sell it to me for next to nothing. Originally restored with the purpose of being a daily driver for my ex-wife, I of course over did it. A year later of nights and weekends in the garage. I learned, yet again, how to rebuild another ancient motor. This is a frame off, complete strip and custom 'tracker' style build.
1979 Kawasaki KZ750B4 (Mustard/White)
Modifications
Drivetrain
Stock mags...Need to get some fat cube rubber for it.
Interior
Stripped, bored over .5mm, rebuilt with all NOS OEM parts...hence the year of build time. 0 mile motor, she runs like a charm.
Exterior
Frame de-tabbed, custom under seal for all the electronics and the battery. Rear hoop put in and upper shock mounts moved forward a bit.
Audio
Rear up 2", front rebuilt with progressive springs, and a heavier oil. TBH way too still fr street riding but I divorced the wife and kept the bike so she's a bit of a garage queen these days.
Suspension
none...well, I guess the electric start works.
Wheel and Tire
MOTOGADGET all the way, LEDs all around, Lithium power cell.
