History
Was my dads old wing. When he got a new one in 2014, I inherited this one. I'm 6'6" so it was a tight fit for my legs. I rode it stock for about 2.5 years and then decided it was time to have some fun with it. over a year and a half I cut, welded, fabbed, scoured the interwebs for parts and learned the in's and out's of a new engine. What you see is my version of a Mad Max GL. Its not for everyone, but it sure gets a lot of attention. What can I say, chicks dig it!

Modifications

Drivetrain
Stock
Interior
Nearly stock, just refreshed. With a curb weight of 410lbs wet down from about 1000lbs(stock), she pulls like a freight train.
Exterior
1964 Honda Dream 305 gas tank. Split down the middle and stretched to fit the GL frame, holds just over 5 gallons now. Knee pads are made of bodo. Formed and shaped them on the tank, popped them off and wrapped them in leather. They attach via some screws through the stock chrome side panels. Seat pan, foam and leather all made in the garage.
Audio
front is stock with progressive springs. Rear is a mono-shock from a 2001 Yamaha roadstar with a 1000lb spring. The mounts are custom fabricated in the garage.
Wheel and Tire
Complete Motogadget set up, all digital ignition.
