So I phoned my supplier and my new Carbon Dymag CA5's are now finished being manufactured - and should be shipped to me shortly, complete with a 42 tooth Talon rear sprocket.

So I need to buy a new front (15) and a chain.
Just want to be sure - Can anybody confirm how many links the chain should have please? :)

My 03 is running 15/42 setup with 180/55 tire and 106 links. However, it may be a little close to the swingarm if you plan on running the 190/55 tire.
The DID ERV3 chain I ordered came with 120 links. So if u plan on running that chain, length shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks. I will be using a 190/55 on the rear, so I guess a chain with a minimum of 110 links should be sufficient then...

Thanks John,

I ordered a 520 110 link RK chain late last night and a lightweight front sprocket from Renthal, so I'll be ready to fit the new wheels soon. Excited! :)
