I've run into a problem with my 2003 RC that I got used. Servicing the forks recently, there was no trouble pulling out the forks in any way, but putting them back showed the lower tree was somehow bent to the tune of about 3/16" to the top triple tree. The stem is straight, but not the fork clamp area apparently. No signs of any crash damage to bike and no history either. Is there a way to straighten out the lower tree? Any specialists out there? Any aftermarket solutions to replace it? Or does anybody have a good used lower? I appreciate all the advice you can give me. HELP!!!

are you sure it's just not twisted relative to the top? if you loosen off the stem nut will the forks go in?

a lot of people get the torquing procedure wrong when they make up the front end.
