Does anyone know the suspension sag rate for a 2003 RC51. Need to set is up but don't know what to set the sage at for a 17lb rider. Does anyone know?

Roughly speaking,

At the rear:
Static sag: 5-10mm
Rider sag: 30-35mm

At the front:
Static sag: 10-15mm
Rider sag: 30-38mm

Does anyone know what the stock suspension was set up for from the factory (rider weight)?

I checked out the sport rider guide for suspension set up and it lists different settings for different years, but I thought this bikes suspension was the same for all years?

The '02-'06 OEM base settings for stock suspension are:

Front preload: 6 turns CW from full soft (CCW)
Compression: 12 clicks CCW from full hard (CW).
Rebound: 1 turn CCW from from full hard (CW). Should have punch marks aligned.

Rear preload: Ramp 5 from full soft (ramp 1).
Compression: 10 clicks CCW from full hard (CW).
Rebound: 1 turn CCW from full hard (CW). Should have punch marks aligned.

LIGHTLY turn the rebound adjusters to the full hard stop or risk damaging the adjuster.

i dont think the bike will allow you to set the sag for a 17lb rider. ;) front sag should be set to approx 35-40mm's, and rear at 25-30mm's depending on the type of riding you do.

so.... CW? Or (CCW)? I'm confused.
