Never dropped, never wheelied, never raced, never even rained on! Meticulously broken-in per the forums instructions! In the Craig's list ad I forgot to mention the following... PAIR mod, flapper mod, sliders, Power Commander PC III with Dan Kyle's map, Sato carbon fibers loud enough that birds really do fall out of the sky when you ride by. Owned and exclusively ridden by a 50 yr. old doctor finishing his mid-life crisis. Very sweet bike!

I bought a 1998 BMW R1100 R in "arrest me red" with 2K m on it from a banker out of a job. It is easier to show up at the hospital on this German klunker than with my hair (thin as it is) burning.

Honestly, though, the RC is so pure and amazing I have priced it not to sell unless someone can't live without it. Hopefully it will stay in its' "Batcave" inside my garage, tempting me to twist the throttle every weekend! Primarily a move to appease my kids and wife. Thanks for your reply. What are you riding ?

The guy I bought the RC from bought a 2005 BMW 1150 Rockster, it is a sweet bike.
It amazing me how well that thing handles corners with those saddle bags and the upright riding postion.

There is no such thing as a mid-life crisis.
I am 41 and just bought my RC; I got it because I have always I have always enjoyed toys and if anything I prefer to think of myself as a big kid. :D

Keep the RC51 and add the Beemer.
The right tool for the right job is what I say.

It's always fun to see the look on a buddies face after we trade rides, my SP2 vs. their 600.
They were expecting my SP2 to be a dump truck around corners, but that opinion is quickly changed when they find it turns pretty damn quick too.
Then they talk about the torque and how the RC51 just shoves them into the seat and launches out of the turns without having to rev it to 16000 RPM.

One friend today asked if I would will him the RC51 if I croaked.
He lusts after my bike something fierce.

I don't think you'll get that kind of reaction out of the Beemer.

Yeah Subsailor,
You might be right. Hey, my Dad was a brown shoe flying A-4's and A-7's off carriers in Viet-Nam. I was supposed to follow in his footsteps, but didn't. The RC51 is as close as I get to experiencing a catapult shot of my own! Thanks for your encouragement, I think I'll keep it. Cheers

Phew. Good choice. I was worried you might sell it for a sec' there...
I'm sure you'll thank everyone more than once, in fact most likely after every ride on the RC.:D
