Hello,

I have 2005 RC51 and clutch is loose, before I touch anything wanted advise on how to fix it. I couldn't find any video or pics online. I have pdf but don't say much about it. Video or pictures very appreciated.

This is a bit bland, is it that the lever is loose, or is the clutch slipping? How does the levels look on the clutch fluid? Need more info.... Also have you searched for a service manual PDF look around the forum I'm sure you'll find a link for it.

Hello

When I try to pull clutch it comes all the way back. I can not change gears. Wire looks good. I can change the fluid and see if that works. I have the manual but didn't see anything on loose clutch. Right now I removed slave cylinder so fluid is low, I can put new fluid and bleed and see if that works.

Yup, start with a fluid change and proper bleeding then go from there. Bets are that will solve your issue. Did mine this past season and it made a big difference and I didn't have any complaints before.

Sounds like air to me too.
You may need to bleed air out at the banjo bolt that's at the clutch master cylinder as well as the bleeder valve at the slave cylinder.

I have always just used a vacuum bleeder. It is a hand pump with a small vac line to a container, with a pick up tube in there. Then from the pick up tube it connects to your bleeder screw, you can suck fluid, or force it in, depending on setting used. Use it for brakes or clutch's anything like that.
It is the easy way but works like a charm and next to no mess at all.
Here in Canada, I picked it up at a Lordco auto parts store for around $85.

We have Mighty Vac in the US. I bought mine for about $45 at Harbor Freight. I've used it to check vacuum lines as well as all the brake systems in all my vehicles.

Hey Jondog9 ,

I had bleed the clutch right and everything but didn't bleed Oil bolt-banjo bolt, which was the reason clutch was still loose, now works perfect.

Not that this was a difficult issue, but there is a wealth of RC51 knowledge here that is unmatched by any mechanic shop. The only difficulty is explaining the problem clearly enough so that people can understand exactly what is happening.

+1here symptoms can be hard to explain when you aren't physically there to examine. Got to appreciate forums like this.
