No pics yet, but I sprung for a low mileage (~3900) Hayden edition a few weeks ago. It rounds out my choice of rides, joining an equally uncomfortable '04 ZX10R and my big, slow, comfy couch, an '03 ZRX1200. I've already treated it to Sato pipes, a Power Commander (Dan Kyle map), and reverse shifting via a VFR800 lever.
This is (sort of) my second RC51. I ordered a 2000 new, but when it was presented for delivery, it had crate damage and a dead battery. Since the dealer's service guy swore that the battery had spent 7-8 hours on charge the previous day, I suspected an electrical short and passed on the bike. Later that year, I was in England on business and was at Brand's Hatch for the race in which Colin Edwards won the WSB title on an RC51.
