Who all runs Amsoil in their RCs? I have run it in every bike I own and have no complaints.

I'd be careful, as many automotive oils have anti-friction additives that could damage the wet clutch plates.
The Shell oil you might ought to try is Shell Advance Ultra 4 full synthetic for bikes.

Honda Gen4 in mine and it does what oil is supposed to do.
Currently Mobil-1 4T full synthetic.
Loads of guys use it on the FZ1OA forum without a single problem, it is cheaper than most other reputable synthetic oils, and it meets the specs described in the owner's manual.Can I ask why you switched?
Sub - there are no friction reducers in this oil...

Ok the real reason I asked this is because I am an Amsoil dealer, I sell at dealer cost, so if you need some oil please let me know!
Amsoil is certainly good stuff, when I lived in Duluth I used to get it straight from the factory in Superior...

I run Amsoil in mine, but can't seem to find it out here in Phoenix area! I'm needing to do another change soon and will probably have to go with Royal Purple or something else! That's what i'm running in my WRX now and can't complain.
running amsoil currently in rc51 and mustang and no problems read good reviews on it

Have been using Amsoil 10w-40 for both the VFR and RC51. Makes the clutch action even better, if that's possible. My 96' Subaru Legacy used Ow-30 for over three years now. You can order Amsoil from their website or 800 number. I have had various distributors over time, but if I don't see them at motorcycle racing venues, I just buy online.
Motorcycle Consumer News did an extensive two-part test of 40 motor oils, synthetic blends, and full synthetics, 5 to 7 years ago. Royal Purple and many other synthetic did just fine, I liked Amsoil for its overall performance package.
I change oil annually, regardless of mileage, for all my vehicles.
High temperature breakdown is my major concern living here in Sacramento and riding hard in to mountains as often as possible.
I have never experienced any oil usage in the Hondas at this point. VFR VTEC has 40K on it. One durable machine, totally over built in many ways.
You should also upgrade your oil filter to a mixed media unit such as Bosch Premium. They will remove the smaller micron particle that other pleated units won't. See VFR World or VFR garage for the non OEM oil filter discussions. The same filter works for all Honda spin on units.

Its a nice one but not the best for everyone. People need to get habituated with that then only they will find it as a good one.
I also rum amsoil in my rc but I run the 20-50 in mine and love it change mine every about 2500 to 3000 miles and just use stock oil filter thought about buying a scotts reusable oil filer but not sure yet if anyone uses a filter like that know let me know what u think

I'm running Amsoil in all my cars/trucks with great results. Also using it in my '07 CB 919. My RC is running the new fully-synthetic 10-30 Honda oil (red bottle). I've had great results after two full track days. Probably going to stick with this regiment...
