Haven’t had my track RC out in a long time, and about every 4-5 years I get bored and try a different discipline of racing (or repeat one from the past, lol).

This is my other twin, Ape SXV 550 at the Ascutney hill climb, put on by Max BMW, on the weekend of Sept. 6-7. This was my first pavement hill climb, and wow, I love it. It’s intense and seems like its ‘go’ all the time. Can’t wait until next year to do all 5 events.

Hope you enjoy the vid, sorry for the quality, it’s an older go pro.
This was my best run of the day, 3:58 on the 3.7 mile course.

Pics from the event, many different type of bikes attended.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun, unsafe as shit, but fun! And I was a little surprised at the prolonged speed in some of those sections, awesome!

Kind of funny timing too because a buddy of mine at work, he and I were just talking about how much fun that event sounds, after viewing the video I gotta try and sign up for it next year...

The event is fun, and the organizers are on their game, well run.
I would encourage you to try it next year, number of racers used to compete in Europe and a couple of Pikes Peak veterans, all are a great group.
