will try to recap the previous 4yrs in order as best as I recall
Wifey was about 5 months prego with our 2nd girl.
Had been doing some pretty long hrs at wk.
Being the amazing woman that she is she noticed I was getting pretty over it all and needed a little r&r she suggested that I go on a boys trip to Vegas.
Well as things turned out I finally came to the realization that non of my mates were able to get the free pass that was required by their ladies(I secretly think she knew this would happen and that's why I received mine) either way respect points were awarded to her as she would've honored my pass .
So I had been out at a wk xmas dinner for a supplier of mine:beer::beer::beer::beer:
On the way home I turned to her and slerred " if I don't go to Vegas im getting a bike"( and I already knew the the actual bike I was going to buy within the next few hours)
She always knew my riding days were far from over even with a 4 year absence as I had sold my dirt bike so I could pay for tools and work for myself. So the rest of the evening and first part of the morning was spent waiting for 7am as I figured that would be early enough to not miss out and late enough to not be too rude.
I was always checking out the market and knew the one I would buy at any given time
You never know what's around the corner in life.

Sory if I'm rambling on too much but I was 31 and about 2 get

My dream bike!!!
Some people never get lucky enough to to own it
I'd never really got something without a compromise before
Not that I settled on the wife
But I see marriage as one big compromise in a good way
Two people making one better life out of 2
If u got everything you've ever wanted expectations get to high and you stop noticing the little things that make it better.
U gotta have the sour so when u get the sweet u appreciate just how good the sweet is.
So by 715am I had talked him down from 10.8k to 10k told him if the add is correct its sold.informed him i would catch a plane next sat morn pay cash sign the papers and ride off into the horizon on my 780km journey home. Id also offered a deposit so no one else could scoop it up but he refused to take a deposit without me seeing it.
Next sat came and caught a 6am got dropped off at his house done the deed and rode off.

Now when I say I rode off.
What I really mean is that this was a pretty big deal for me and was quite nervous, excited etc...
Stalled the bike 3 times with each time getting more and more embarrassed
God only knows what he was thinking or regretting. Got home at dark with a sore bum and face
Bum is pretty self explainitory
But id never had such a massive grin for that amount of time.
My mate who picked me up from the airport brought me all the original parts included in the sale a couple of weeks later.

Then two years ago I over xmas I got bored and filled my time comparing bits and bobs
Urge for fiddling was growing and equally fading with the more stockish theme
So black shorty levers
Black Driven d-3 grips
4 black hel braided lines
I had been ordering an item each 3 or 4 days, I was keen to keep going too
Thinking I was quite crafty and going undetected until the wife told me to stop spending money
(Spools actually a separate major mod that came after the screen when I got paddock stands as I got sick of wifey havin to hold the bike on the side stand after a ride to lube the chain)

Last pic is sheeky shneeky cory
Turns out this was not the case but for a while there I was a secret special undercover agent.
Or as I called it sp agent 001
So at this point I needed a wank sock
And as I was unselfish I bought one for lady of the garage
The next few had always been planned except for the welding but it was semi misdiagnosed
The rear end seemed bad and had slowly gotten worse
Winter hit and after a mid winter perv
Or maybe it was a 1am drunken rev session I'm not quite sure but either way there's always plenty of drool on my tee shirt and floor
I noticed oil stains on my frame and lots of sticky gunk on the shock
So from dk I ordered ohlins rear and dk link and when it was fitted also had the tank welded
The mechanic said it was a slow leak that could be a contributing factor to the rear shock losing it's oil

All bestem and purchasd with the next is this but waiting for rego bracket to come hopefully in a week or so.
In the meantime I would love for some options or nudges in the rigjt direction
1- What's your opinion on the indicators
2- being full on with the spacing of indicators they're for the rear does anyone know of any replacement stop/tail leds with no orange
3- front indicators. flush vs stalk
Should I go 4 the same or what flush mounts look sexy, classy or not cheap looking??
Hopefully someone is still left reading it's taken many beers to get all this done today
Beer weather anyways and hotter next week when I go back to standing on roofs all day cant wait:beer::beer::banghead:

For the front, I prefer flush mounts.
The small aftermarket stalk signals are too easily damaged.
I'll be replacing my second set on my FZ1, so I'm moving to flush mount on it.

LOL, its very common to stall the first time on an RC. Whenever I let my buddies try my RC’s, even some of the most experienced ones stall as they release the clutch.
