I was warming my up Rc for the first time since June of this year, and when I came back to my bike, I found a rather annoying coolant puddle freshly leaked from the left side.

Is it a loose hose? Do I have to take the radiators out to look into my problem? Here's a pic

I had a similar problem when I first got my SP1. Rode it around, no issues. Did a start-up one time, then noticed a small leak. Turned out to be a slightly loose connection on the upper hose. Few turns with a screw driver, no issues afterwards.

Check all the connections, and check the hose for cracks.

With all the fairings off you shouldn't have to do that to at least visualize all connections.
Can't seem to find much, if the issue is only to be a hose/connection. It drips from the bottom right corner of the radiator itself

Hmm, well if it was me I guess I'd try and dry everything off as best I could and continue to try and find the source. Even unbolting the radiator doesn't give you much play, it's pretty well secured in there just by all the hose connections.

I wouldn't take off the radiator, like already stated...dry everything off then run the bike.

This should help identify the leak. I thought the same thing with my leak (looked like it was coming off the bottom corner), but after I dried everything I noticed it was coming from the upper hose connection.

It was dripping from the upper hose, then running down the radiator and dripping off the corner (sounds similar to yours).

I venture to say, if you look at the upper hose (by your blinkers) you might see some coolant.

Dry, run, check.

Just my thoughts.

I concur.

My leak was also from a upper hose, but on the right, throttle side.

Ram, I forget, is yours SP1 or SP2? SP1's are somewhat notorious for the front top left radiator mount to vibrate and cause a pinhole in the top row of the radiator. Mine gave out after I hit about 25,000 miles. It can't really be repaired, I had to replace it with a good radiator I found here on the forum.

I hope it's only your hoses, or your overflow bottle. You should remove your left side fairing and take a good look at the rad, hoses, overflow bottle, and it's hoses.
Go one step further, and remove the right side fairing so you can inspect and clean the hoses and clamps on that side to. If you gently tug at the right corner of the front fairing, you can access the radiator cap and inspect that too. Then go ahead and run the bike to warm it up and keep an eye on all the connections before you reinstall the plastics.

I have an sp2. My RC has an 03 motor, but the chassis, wheels, etc is 2002. I can only so much around these hoses, my view is really limited with both fairings off. I feel like I might have to figure out how to flush all the coolant and take the radiators out and inspect the hoses

This is not an uncommon problem considering their age.
The upper left seems to be the most problematic location for some reason.
Possibly since it's near the Y-hose connection that crosses over to the right radiator.
Check your hose clamps and make sure they're all snug, then make sure your coolant level is ok.
Check the overflow tank level with bike upright, and don't over fill as it may leak out.

How can one diagnose this easily? Am I missing something. Seems the overflow tubes are spitting out, and that may mean multiple things.

Any news?
