Just to confirm, is the vacuum tank for the flapper valve situated underneath the right hand side radiator? Just want to be sure before I start pulling pipes off.

Thanks

Hey Matt, losing a tiny bit of weight? It's nice to get that crap off, huh?
I keep mine in a ziplock bag. Just in case.

Now I gotta get rid of that really annoying evap cannister...
Everytime I change my oil, there that stupid thing is.

The vacuum tank is out, but I had trouble getting to the solenoid behind the radiator, so the pipes have just been bunged at the moment. Any ideas on how to get to the solenoid? I unscrewed the 2 bolts securing the rad but still couldn't get to it.

Thanks

Sorry mate, I can't help you there.
I have an SP2, and the solenoid is mounted on front left radiator.
Those with SP1s may chime in with some advice.
The service manual recommends removing the right radiator to gain access, which you probably are already aware.

Sorry, I'm being stupid  Assumed mine was on the left due to the vacuum tank, but instructions say it's on the right, so will have a look at the weekend. Will try and do it without taking the rad off but we'll see.

Thanks

Matt
