from a quick glance at my SP1, it seems like one would have to remove the clutch slave to get a good look at, check, count teeth or replace the front sprocket.

is this true?

thanks,

Paulie

PS: all i would like to do is count the teeth as i am trying to figure out my gearing. speedo seems off & trying to see exactly how many teeth on each sprocket. rear is easy, front seems not so much:eek:

question on this...are there supposed to be dowl pins between the cover and the engine block, that the mounting bolts pass through?

Schematics show them, but seems my bike doesn't have them. However, the cover does fit flush and bolts can be torqued to spec.

Thanks,
B
