Some (political?) humor ... Currently reading the book The Psychology of Winning, basically a self-help, positive-thinking type of book from 1979. It's not political at all, not intentionally anyway. Based on Madbuyer's signature, he might like this ... Pg 54:

There also has been a remarkable breakthrough in psychology, which was first led by Abraham Maslow, Carl Rodgers, William Glasser, Viktor Frankl, and many other prominent humanists.

This new movement which is optimistic about human growth and potential is commonly referred to as Responsibility Psychology. It holds that irresponsibility and valuelessness lead to abnormal behavior, neuroses and mental deterioration.

Treatment for individuals suffering from these symptoms includes showing them that they need not be hung up on the past but are responsible for their present actions as well as their future behavior.

Psychiatrist Glasser and other have found that, when the neurotic individual is helped to assume personal responsibility, the prognosis for recovery is good. In case after case, they verify that responsible self-control leads to sound mental health.

Basically the exact opposite of what our current government administration pushes.

That's interesting.
Do you mean governments that allows carcinogenic Benzene into gasoline as a lead replacement even though 1 in 5 people already contract some form of cancer in their lifetimes? Governments who class foods & drinks that lead to serious illness (incl. Cancer) as safe for consumption & allow industries to poison us not just through food, but fracking, etc. and then when we get sick, allow pharmaceutical companies to continue to bleed us dry through over-priced illness suppressants through which to bleed us dry financially?
Governments who charge the people a large proportion of their income from labour through taxation of various forms (despite much of it not being constitutionally legal), not only till they die but after it (Death taxes)?

The public vote for the people that represent the above industrial & central bank interests, yet think they're doing the right thing. Doesn't that seem insane already?

...If only it were actually funny! :p
