I have fond memories of the open mountain roads around Cadaques, just south of the French border. Great riding up in those hills & the cutest little village. This is just a picture I found online, it's probably a lot more developed than when I was there with friends for a summer break.

Pretty girls from any country are always a pleasure to see but the ones in Barcelona (3 hours away) during that summer 20 years or so ago... Ay Karamba!!

Beautiful photo Stig. I live in the South of Spain, not far from the [British] Rock of Gibraltar and the Spanish town of Tarifa, Tarifa is the most Southerly point of Spain.

From my house I can see Africa across the short stretch of sea 'Gibraltar Strait'

Some good mountain roads around here, especially in the mountain region of Ronda

If you ever find yourself in Spain again Stig, you must look me up :)

Tarifa is a good place for windsurfing if I remember correctly, but never went there though. Unfortunately I'm far away from Europe nowadays, with no intentions of returning there to live again - but thanks for the thought! :)
