While i am at it i might as well throw the good racing computer games in as well.

-EA Superbike 2000
-EA Superbike 2001- You can race the RC51
-MotoGP 08, the last decent MotoGP game
-GP500- one of the best Racing games ever made even though its close to 15 years old now. Highly Recommend.
-SBK X- RC51 included

Sjaak when around the world twice on an R1.

They asked him why on earth did you pick an R1 over dual-purpose bikes?
He said he couldn't kill the R1. It was so reliable that he chose it again for his second trip.

Off roading on an R1 I'd like to see that! Yea I have never really paid attention to Motorcycle racing that much. I'm ashamed to admit before I joined this forum I had never heard of Joey Dunlop. I am 32 if that helps rationalize things? I definitly want to pick up one of the documentarys on him, mabe your #1 there "The Doctor, the Tornado, and the Kentucky Kid". Thanks for sharing your list and educating me!

Number 8, Flick the Beast. Wasn't that a porno movie? You also forgot Silver Dream Racer with David Essex in it. Fantastic movie. But you need to watch the British version, not the American one.

Well, I watched the first three episodes of The Long Way 'Round yesterday. I really liked the way that they documented everything. The first one is pretty much about how they put everything together and what they had to deal with to finally get the project going. They went through quite a few countries pretty quickly but I think they did a good job documenting their experiences. Felt a bit bad for Charlie because nobody seemed to recognize him, only Ewan, but then I remember they have the means to take a motorcycle trip around the world.
I also watched DTK. Great movie to see if you have never been to Laguna Seca or even if you are going again this year. Next, I think I am going to watch War Games just to get my mind off the RC sitting back home 3 hours away.
