Hi from Massachusetts. I've been riding sportbikes since the 70's on my CB400F, then an F2 and a GSXR600 I raced and finally a CBR900RR on the street. I was almost an owner of an '04 RC51 today but someone in CA beat me to the punch. I'm still looking for a low mileage 04 in New England if anyone knows of one.

I live near Worcester. I agree, the RC is an incredible machine. I have 2 friends who had the first year RC's new and I was very impressed. Another friend has an '03 which he let me take for a day recently. I was hooked! Now I just need to find the right one.

i bought my rc51 in montreal. it was a bargain. maybe it's too far but you might want to take a look:

www.kijiji.ca
check montreal, search rc51
Thanks for the tip but I'm trying to avoid going that far away to find one. I found one in Rhode Island that looked perfect but someone hit the "buy it now" button on ebay the day I was going to look at it. I guess I should have done that too but I don't like spending that kind of money without seeing the bike first. As Gipper said Mass has lots of RC fans and I'm sure the right bike will turn up eventually.

I just Bought an 2004 RC bout 3 weeks ago= I have to make myself stay off of it on my off days!! I just put the Yoshi slip ons on it last week and they sound like thunder!!! I spent all day yesterday changing the chain slider- man I bet the shop labor would have killed me on that one!!
