i haven't seen the bike yet but apparently the only damage is the scratch on the swing arm.

The '00-'01 and '02 had very similar paint schemes.
For stock bikes, look at the swingarms or wheels.
SP1's have different swingarms than SP2's.
And SP1's had 6-spoke wheels and SP2's had 5-spoke.
Or the sticker on the right side if you next to the bike

got the the bike tonight. it's in great shape. $5800cad. smoking deal. on the road home, more soon.

did some cleaning and light tinkering today. front tire is toast and i think it messed up the handling. yes, i took it down the street even though there is still a couple feet of snow in the ground.

the seat is so much more comfy than the seat on my 05 gsxr1000.

when i bought the bike i pointed out the front tire was a mess. the seller included a secong front tire, pilot road, that is about 40% left. i got it on the bike today. took the bike down to the corner and it was much better behaved. good boy.

tonight i did not like the oil change. my 05 gix1000 is a piece of cake compared to this rc51!
what is up with those shitty plastic fairing fasteners holding the bottom of the fairing??? holy fock did i curse them!
