[TX_RC]

Hi All! Brand new here and looking for some help.
I recently picked up a 2005 RC51 black/grey. I was going to change out the factory mirrors and I decided I am going to keep the bike as close to factory as I can.
My issue now is, I can't seem to get the mirror and the bushing/spacer back into the bracket that holds it on (appears they are too thick to put back in). I usually take pictures as notes when I remove anything but I completely spaced this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My 06 has 4 washers. 2 on each side of the mirror stalk.

Thank you...My '05 has those washers as well as what appears to be a large bushing if I recall.. I'm going to double check this right after work.

This helped a lot! That gromet slid its way from my parts bin towards all my mirrors parts. Although it looks to be a perfect fit for the mirrors, it is for something else. Thank you for the help!
