Hello, All.
I've been looking at all the lovely RC's on this site for the last several days. More so because I'm about to order parts to change the look of my US spec 2002 RVT1000R/RC-51 to a UK spec VTR1000R/SP2.
I happened to look at the BOTY Finalists & came across PedroSupertramps' VTR1000R in the Castrol Edition colors. Could someone or maybe the owner let me know where I could get a hold of such bodywork, or do I need to have it custom painted ? I've always liked those colors on the RC. Judging from the background, it appears that PedroSupertramp resides in the UK. I'm going to order my 2002 SP2 "body parts" & fuel tank from David Silver Spares in Suffolk, UK, after Christmas.
Or else I shall get the new look & let you guys decide what stickers to put on the fender, tail & lower fairings, as it looks a little vanilla in plain white.
I'm now getting confused & dazed & don't know what to do next. It doesn't help that I have to order parts from far & wide & this requires a lot of effort because of my location. I may have to resort to something I've never done before in my life. Take sleeping pills for my condition.
Take Care & Ride Safe & Friendly,
Regards,

Easy way would be to package up your old bodywork & fuel tank (removing any fasteners, fuel cap, etc that won't be painted) in a large box together with as many pictures as you can find and send to a good specialist bike paint shop. Be sure to carefully store fasteners in zip lock bags.
I guess Dream Machine paint is still going. They had a good reputation years ago!
