I have a imploded fuel tank on a 03. I contacted Honda and it is past warranty and there is no recall so they are of no help. And discussing with others on what can be done about it. We have come up with these ideas. I wonder if the first one is even feasible. Anyone have any thoughts?

1. Run compressed air into the vent hose.

2. Pull the dent out some how.

3. Buy a new or used tank.

The first one is possible. You would have to close up all openings except the one you are putting the air in. Be careful tho, it takes very little air pressure (like 5psi) to pop dents out. It also takes very little more to blow the thing up! I suggest putting an air regulator on the hose so you can control psi. Also if it is creased at all around the dented area it wont fully work.
