I picked up a SP2 swingarm and want to install it in my SP1.

Has anyone done this mod?

If I believe Thorsten (and why would I not) I need some kind of spacers to put into the back of my motor. If this is true can I get those state side or order from Thorsten?

I am very interested in this as well. I have a line on an sp2 swinger for a really great price but I was not sure if it was possible.

I found the specs for the spacer on a couple other sites. I was also wanting to get peoples opions on the before and after effects.

Did you get the SP2 link or do you have a Kyle link already?
One of the differences besides the swingarm was a revised link ratio on the SP2.
The Kyle link on the SP1 changes the link ratio to a more linear vs. progressive rate.
Also raises the ride height about 13mm.
The SP2 link also changed the ratio to a more linear one, but didn't raise the rear like the Kyle link does.

Seems like a lot of hassle, and I would guess all the parts together wouldn't be cheap.

Is it really a worth while mod ? How much weight difference is there between the swingarms?

The swingarm I got has everything except the wheel. I did get a Kyle link.
