Back in the day. The old TL turned in better with a 180 rear as apposed to the 190 stock size.

Is the same true with the RC?.

I am about to push the paypal button on a 190/120 set if Pilot Powers.

That used to be the thinking and I ran 2 or 3 180s myself. That is better than a 190/50 but most agree the 190/55 gives quick steering and adds a little more contact patch leaned over so thats the way I'm going now. The 55 aspect ration tires cost more but I think most will feel it's worth it.

Didn't know those have become more common now. Looks like a pretty serious track tire. Which one do you prefer Wibbly?

i use the pirelli diablo supercorsa SC (1 in the front, 2 in the rear), though the supercorsa SP would be a great choice as well. both available in 180/60 (which is taller than a 190/55)

I was just reading up on this same question last night for about an hour or so. Seems most go with the 190/55 but those who do go with the 180/55s really like them too. I have 180/55s on my bike but they came with them and have no clue what 190s feel like. I'm not sure if I'll go with the 190s next spring or stick with what I know.

Depending on how you get along with the RC you might try all three profiles over time. I've had mine for 15 years (bought new in 2002) and have tried several different brands. After the original Metzelers wore out I tried some Michelins with a 180/55 rear and liked that alot. Going with a 190/55 this time but might try the 180/60 in the future. Although the 180/60's look to be premium pricing but I've spent so much on my gilded turd it really don't matter. Don't have any Sea-Doos, lifted trucks or boats so everything after food & home goes to tools and RC. Oh and good tequila!:grin2:

I run 190/55 Q3s and love them. Recently did the same on my Aprilia RSVR 1000 from a 190/50
