Right on man! You picked up a great dedicated track bike that you will really pick up your pace with. I’ve finished mine about a month ago and rode it at 3 track days so far, I definitely prefer riding the 600 over my r1m at the tracks

Hey Gigantor24! That Engine Ice is propylene glycol based antifreeze. Though the label says it’s AMA legal, it is not!! Tech will see that it’s blue and say no. Happened to me through AHRMA. I looked it up, and it is just regular old antifreeze. I run distilled water in my RC51 and it runs the same temps as Water Wetter. Maybe different on a ZX6. Good luck.

I appreciate that info very much! I'll definitely switch in the future if needed. No racing this year due to being back in school at almost 40y/o but I'd love to start next year. I've got a good contact to get my liscence when time allows.

Metzler TD slicks, great for A pace and awesome longevity $$

I've been hearing more and more good things about those!

Just getting into slicks, my zx6r came with bridgestone V02's, I bought warmers for that bike and debating what to stick with for the track..

I don’t use warmers either, they’ve hot after 1-2 laps depending on track surface temp.
