Mike do me a favor buddy and tell me how the hell you post your pic up like that? Everytime I do it it turns into a link. I'm not all that computer savy.

Also I just bought me another swingarm and wanted it just like yours or wanted to get it powdercoated. How did you get yours like that, paint stripper, sander??? I took my wheels on my R1 down to the metal and all I did was use some paint stripper. Is the swing arm the same way?

ok go to photobucket.com register and start downloading pics. it will give you 4 opitions under your pic. just right click and copy on the last opition and then come to where you want to post and right click agian and hit paste. hope that helps.
as for the swingarm the bike was already done, but he did strip it and used a sander with 1000 grit. and then polished it with a buffer of all things,(must have taken him forever.

I dont have to resize it or anything?

I'll give it a try.

Looks like it took awhile. I'm thinking of powdercoating mine

i knew you could do it, MAN!! that is a clean bike, looks great...:D
i really wish my frame and swingarm were black, it would be really stealthy

Nah man that frame and swingarm look great. Shoot I wish my wheel stripes were straight. Those things are a pain in the ass !!!

However, when I look at it....I say....

Sweet Ohlins forks & shock, nice damper, cool Satos, sweet Gillis chain adjusters and lets not forget the HRC covers for the brake and clutch res.:D

what no galfer wave rotors up front? man that bikes crap, never mind what i said.........just kidding, i noticed..i was on my I phone at the repair store.(dropped it). hey where in NJ are you? i'm 5 minutes from atlantic city, in northfield.
my winter project is a single sided swingarm, and from there i'll just copy your bike :D

I'm up in central NJ....just off the GSP exit 123.

Good luck on the SS swingarm.....any idea what swingarm you are going to use?

Funny.....I was about to say how sweet your bike was until you made the comment above.

Just picked her up last Saturday, been wanting one ever since my 04 R1 got stolen in college and i rode my roomates Nicky Hayden RC51, cant wait until friday, suposed to be 75 degrees outside :D

Thats really nice, nice paint scheme, we only got "red" here in New Zealand, not that it matters when the engines humming in the twisties:)

Pic of my 2001 SP1 I took last weekend, was the first really nice day of the year for a ride.
The gold accents look great. nice bike
