Hey, I am looking for new and or used aftermarket parts for my 2003 RC51. I'm looking for things such as, pipes, powercomander, steering stabilizers, forks, shocks, and everything else haha.

I just bought it a few days ago, its completely stock and its time to for it into a beast.

Unusual to find good parts used. You may be better off buying new.
There are many sources in the US, Europe & Japan.

Stig will know the Japan supply stuff well, they aren't cheap anymore with the Yen rate gaining on the dollar.

OEM: http://www.indyoem.com/, they seem pretty fair on pricing.

Powercommander and some steel braided lines are in order first...they make an instant improvement. Ohlins shock, resprung/revalved forks do too but require a few more coins.

A member here Simon is the cat selling the Ladybird set up on EBay....heard all kinds of good stuff about them.

Tsukigi will make an exhaust for $2,000. Moriwaki's are just about dried up.

I am still curious about the Black Dragon exhaust...they look and sound really nice. (Just query BD on Google...Some folks here have sensitive vaginas)

Just keep looking, you will find something I am sure.

Sadly, it's more like the other way around, the dollar depreciating rapidly against the Yen and a basket of other currencies, but yeah - Japanese stuff is expensive when buying with $US, that's for sure.

Despite living here - most of my stuff came from outside Japan though, UK, Italy, US, etc. Pound & Euro aren't doing so well either, so maybe it's worth looking into buying stuff from there too... ;)

It depends on how extreme you want to go. If you want go fast right now, then new is the way to go, cause it's warranteed. And lot's of good members here know where to get things, as you can already see.

If you have some time, like if your going thru a rebuild or something, then watching the classifieds, and ebay and craigslist can get you some deals for sure. buyer beware. But I got some things you mentioned off this forum and other sources and had very good luck and good prices. For example, I just saw a dankyle shock link go for $150--they're 350 new. I scored my scotts damper for $175 and pcIIIr for 180. Took a while though.
