Please tell me someone can help me figure this out.
As most of you know, my wife and I are building a house. ..
I'll get to that

My uncle lives in Long Island, NY and is getting ready to move.
He contacted me with a statement,
Hey, Adam, as you know we're getting move. I have this old 71 Honda CB750.
I was going to sell it, but then I thought of you.
I know you would appreciate it.
If you can find a way to get it to you, it's yours.

I have always wanted an old Honda!!!

Normally, I could just go to the bank and get a loan.
With the house, I can't do that.
The money we have in savingsis going towards closing and all that.

Cheapest I have found is right at 700
Any info would be appreciated!!!

Good luck finding a good shipper Adam. I've heard prices of around $500 to ship a bike across country like that, but I suppose it depends somewhat on fuel prices. And they're getting high again right now.

Cherry Coke works awesome on surface rust :D

Uship was about 100 more than another quote I got.
Trying to figure out how to make this work.
Here's a couple pictures:
First thing to go is the flag and the box.

Nice looking bike, especially for the mere price of shipping! Ok, maybe the seat and handlebars need changing, but other than that, it looks really nice.

Subsailor was right about the 'sandcast' models being valuable. They were only made in 1969 tho. (I think)
I think the one below sold for about $125K

Cheapest I've found is $646.
Not giving up, but unfortunately the priorities are getting first dibs on the bank account.
