I am not new to the world of the RC but recently went back to the amazing world of the V-twin from the I4 world. I had an 02 rc for awhile then sold it and went to a 1000rr along with a few GSX-R's thrown in there. I recently picked up a 04 RC51 with 3100 miles on it. I paid 6500 for it and dont plan on getting rid of it. It looks good with the other Nicky stuff I have for decoration. Any way just wanted to say hi. Only have one picture, hasnt been to nice out to get more. only mod it has is leo vince pipes. I bought bmc filter, cgr levers, braided lines, new chain/sprockets, 1/4 turn hrc throttle, and power commander

Thanks. Its super clean and a blast to ride. I do need to find a rear seat for it. I forgot to get it when I picked up the bike(8hr drive one way) and they guy wanted to charge me for it on top of paying shipping, so I told him where he could stick the seat. I drove 8hrs and paid him very well for the bike and he didnt have the manners to ship the seat.

the guy was a big bum. I stopped for gas 45 minutes away and thats when I remembered I left the seat sitting in the guys garage. called him 3 times with no answer and left three voice mails stating I forgot the seat if he would call me and let me know its sitting out side I woud turn around and pick it up. Its 7pm at this time,I wait 15 mins and nothing so I decide to head home as it was a friday and maybe he was out no big deal. I got a call on Sunday saying he would ship it on monday but he wanted 100.00 for the seat and shipping and also for his time he wanted another 50.00 to make up for what paypal took from the 1k deposit I sent him. Paypal took like 30.00 bucks for its fee's from the deposit. So he wanted me to eat all the cost after I already paid him his full 6,800.00 with out a hassel because it was low miles and exactly what I was looking for and super clean. The seat would fit in a flat rate ship box for like 15 bucks and I told him I had no problem sending 15-20 bucks to cover the shipping but no he wanted a full 150.00. A#$hole.

Defiantly a jerk. you payed top dollar too.
funny thing is that i did something similar to the guy that bought my old 2000 but he beat me up on the price what was super low to begin with and at the end when the money was being counted there was another hundred short. I had the Corbin on it and wasn't giving that up and the new bike was still in transit and was going to give the seat that was on the new bike and told him that i would ship it but after all the crap i never sent the seat and wouldn't answer his calls.

Holy Crap tfo -you do have some fast toys!
Welcome to the forum. I'm digging that CTS :)
Sell the bmc filter, stay with OEM.
Not to bad for a 29 year oldb:D

The cts-v was probably my favorite car that was fast and functional. 400hp ls6 with 6 speed manual and enough room for 4-5 people.

The vette was a blast and I dumped a lot of money in it. It had intake, small cam, headers, full 3 inch exhaust w/ cut outs, monster stage 3 clutch with lightened fly wheel. it put down 416.4 to the rear wheels.

My 1000rr had everything but internal motor work and it put down 187.8 rwhp

painted up the brakes last night and putting them back together today. turned out really good and will really look great next to white wheels.

put on all braided lines(brakes and clutch) and my cgr shorties

Also painted the screen white and looks 10x better in person than the crappy photo but you get the idea

Good work tfo! Looks like you had a productive weekend. I like the brake calipers best.
Did you get a chance to flush/replace the fluid when you replaced the lines? Since you didn't mention it...
A $45 Mighty Vac will make that job a quick easy job. And you can use it for lots of other things.

Yeah its all flushed with new honda dot 4 fluid. I have a budy that works for the local honda dealer and I have spent a a good chunk of change their so I get a heafty discount for Honda products. I ll have to check into the mighty Vac, I do it all the old school way, I am just glad bikes are easier than cars.
