Getting ready to check the valve clearance on the 02 RC, looking through the maintenance manual the following gaskets and o rings should be replaced per the manual. I found some of the part numbers but could not find two part numbers. If there is something else that should be done, or not, please comment and if you know the part numbers please post.

valve covers gaskets - front 12391-mcf-000 rear 12396-mcf-000

a couple of o rings on dowel pins near the spark plugs 12395-mat-750

o rings for the crankshaft hole cap and the timing hole cap ???

Unless the O-rings and seals are old and hard, then I would reuse.
I've not had a problem with mine yet, and they're years old.

Front valve cover gasket:
GASKET, FR. CYLINDER HEAD COVER
12391-MCF-000

Rear valve cover gasket:
GASKET, RR. CYLINDER HEAD COVER
12396-MCF-000

Timing hole cap O-ring:
O-RING (13.8X2.5)
91303-377-000

Alternator/crankshaft cap O-ring:
O-RING (30MM)
91356-425-005

Seals for valve cover dowels:

Same here: especially the valve cover gaskets. I bought new before I tore into mine, and even though I had over 30,000 on the bike, and those valve cover gaskets were original, I found them to be in very good shape compared to the new ones. I should have re-used them and saved the new gaskets for the next time...
