Looks great, should probably hurry to get a set as it says “almost gone “ . Did you water. Mist before the decal for position, just curious.
Thanks, yes I water mist the place I'm putting the decal and I also mist the sticky back of the decal too, place it where you want it and wiggle it right in place, then start working the bigger water/air bubbles out, once it's in the exact right place then use the blow dryer and work the bubbles out with your finger. The more you do the easier it gets, you won't ruin the decal with water so I say use plenty, some decals like the upper front white number plate took me over an hour maybe even two hours, I had to remove it and respray a couple dozen times getting it lined up correctly. If it starts to dry out then it will stick and that's when you'll have problems, slow and steady wins the race so take your time.Looks great, should probably hurry to get a set as it says “almost gone “ . Thanks, I got them off ebay as new old stock last summer, my guess would be they are discontinued, I'm glad to have found a good use for them.I like the flags, good choice, those wouldn’t still be available would they?nice work on that side panel, looks great
Yes ,for this kit the HRC sticker was already applied to that piece, heat up the ones to remove with a blow dryer they come off much easier, I got lucky this time they even came off in one piece so that was nice, clean off any remaining sticky with Goo Gone or similar.Did you remove the old decal before putting the new HRC RC51 on the lower panel?
Thanks man, she will be loved indeed! So glad to see another one being saved, it definitely found the perfect owner!
Now we're going to need a new family garage picture of them all together
Thanks, no worries happy to help others in a similar situation needing to replace the decals. The oem bodywork for these bikes are becoming unicorns for A level oem pieces, all 3 pieces I used for this set were B/C level oem pieces that had damage of some sort that I bought off ebay, last summer I fixed all the cracks etc on them and they've just been hanging on the garage wall waiting for a purpose.Looks great, can’t wait to see them on the bike and thanks for the info on decals👍
Thanks, the US flag Woody's are growing on me today, I'm glad I tried them.Looks great and can't wait to see the progress. Love the American flag Woody decals as well. Good choice.
Thx CapnGreat find, it's in good hands and looking good. Congrats!
Thanks, for fixing the cracks on the bodywork I used "PlastiFix", if you google it or check Youtube you'll see a bunch of video's etc. It worked great IMO and I didn't have to repaint the entire pieces of bodywork, just some paint touch up where the crack fix was, it came with colored plastic (red) which helped to hide the crack fix area.Looks great, funny mine has the same rash but I’m leaving it as a reminder.Just wondering what and how did you fix the cracks in body work?
