My right fork oil seal burst on me today, spraying fork oil all over the front tyre.

That made the handling interesting

Not a happy bunny now :-(

Tbh, I didnt even touch the front brakes! Just used the back and engine braking.

Forks are now off and have been sent away for a full service and set up, so hopefully will be back on the roads next week :)

Now all I need is sun and clear roads :D

Pretty much. Was riding enthusiastically down a bumpy back road, though I have to say its my own fault it blew, as I spotted the right hand leg weeping oil a few weeks back, but stupidly thought it would be ok for a while longer!

And now the suspension company dealing with the refurb has rung me today to tell me that the fork top nut on the right hand leg is fairly well seized in place, and that they may have to knacker it to get it off..............magnificent

That nut, new from Mr Honda is £50 ($72). I hope it comes presented in a gold box, with platinum sprinkles for that amount!

Will be winter before I get my bike back on the road at this rate!
