Hey guys, when I bought my 2001 RC51 it came with an Erion Racing exhaust in it. The system is in mint condition and looks like it was just taken out of the box. Can anyone give me some info on the exhaust, is it a good exhaust ....I have searched and searched and can’t find anything about them....I did find where Kurt Roberts had them on his RC51 and that’s about it. Thank you for your time.

Seriously, that’s your reply.....why waste your time......I have read that probably 100 x’s. I am referring specially to the Erion Racing exhaust because I cannot find anything specific on them.....I know all about the Erion Racing branded Honda they had and know of their website.....I just don’t know anything about that specific exhaust.....is it a cheap exhaust, are there any know issues with it, has anyone ran an RC51 with one before.......I have ran the ladybirds, Akropovic, two brothers, micron previously.....any info on the Erion Racing exhaust would be appreciated.

Maybe you missed it....this is directly from the Rogue site:

The Erions are alot of bang for the buck with decent power gains & the gloss black powdercoated can is absolutely gorgeous. I have used Erions on every 900RR I have ever owned & recommend them regularly for those riders who are financially challenged. You will be hard pressed to find a better USA made exhaust, but they still pale in comparison to the Japanese products.

Seriously, you read it how many times and still failed to see Erion mentioned multiple times on the page?

From the same article:

the Erions are qood quality with a durable finish & without a doubt one of the best bargains for the money, but their fitment onto the bike left a little to be desired on two different installs I have done and performance was bleak compared to properly tuned exhaust systems

Actually I was looking for members opinions instead of just one persons experience with them.....I have ran Akropovics and loved them and then have people tell me they hate them.....if you can’t actually contribute to a post why post at all....you act like the guys on the 150cc scooter website

Well the oddest part is you are asking for opinions and reviews on the cans you already fuckin own. How much more experience do you really need with them? That article was written to keep people like you from asking the same lame ass questions on the web forums over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & You didn't like the review? you didn't think it was accurate? Let me guess, what it really comes down to is a fishing expedition. You just want someone to come on here and tell you how awesome the Erion's are and how lucky you are to have such an awesome exhaust can on your RC51....

Wow, another uneducated idiot. If you would actually use the “search” button you would see that I just bought the bike and they were on there....pretty sure I wasn’t going to tell the guy to take them off before I bout it.........i don’t need to have someone praise something i have or am posting to hopefully have someone say something good about them..if someone would of said they were shit so be it...and at least I would know to swap them out.....you are the typical forum junkie who gets up in post count and you pride yourself the second someone asks for your opinion or mentions you in a post..you are the typical forum douschbag and I guarantee there are plenty more who think that but just don’t want to post it.......it’s pretty sad because you seem knowledgeable and it’s people like you that make people not want to post or not register at all.....hopefully this forum helps you compensate for what your lacking below the waist and in bed.....anyway, have a great day.

You totally had me at uneducated, but you had to ramp it up a couple notches. I can appreciate that :grin2:

Just to make it interesting $1000 says my wife can best your laptime on any track in the United States you choose. Pick an event.

I’m always up for a race.....but a $1k would not be worth my time to travel.....I would be more than happy to bump it to $5k and let a moderator hold the cash....I can PayPal the money immediately if need be. I would be on my CBR though and not my RC51 as it’s set up for the track.

Opinions please on exhaust

It was a simple question on Erion Racing exhaust and members input on them...I bought the bike with them on it and never ran them before nor have I seen an RC51 in person running them....I have seen 1 bike/CBR at the track with it but it was a completely different can....I also tried to find the Erion Racing decals but Erion told me they don’t make them anymore....luckily I found a website that had some NOS Erion Racing stickers to put on the RC51...they should be here in a few days

For $5k I'll ride myself. Where at?
