My rc has a flat spot in the power curve at around 6 to 7000 rpm and picks up after that. any solutions? I re adjusted the timing and it's perfect now but still has the flat spot.

Do you have an aftermarket pipe? a PC?

If you have a PC connected, disconnect it to see if the issue goes away.

On the surface, it sounds like a very lean spot in the air/fuel curve.
Happened to me after I bought my RC51.

The prior owner must have never gotten the exhaust mapped.
On mine, at about 5800 RPM, the power began fading away, and at 6000 RPM, it was so lean it started to misfire.
Past 6200 it picked up and ran fine.

After I got it mapped, no more problems.
