So for those who know waaaay more than me on these matters.

I have put a heat shield on my Ti exhaust, the issue I am concerned about it the fact that said heat shield is held on with steel jubilee clips. Now I know that Ti to any other metal galls up under heat so my question is:

Do I need to protect the pipe from these clips and if so... how?

Cheers chaps

Assuming these are stainless steel clips, you will not get any real dissimilar metal corrosion from the contact. It will not affect the integrity of the metals.

Carbon steel could be a different story just from the oxidizing factor alone.
