Anyone know the difference between 02/03 rear harness and the 04 and up rear harness? The 04 has a different part number than 03 and I am trying to wire up a 02/03 rear harness (verified by part number) now to what is supposed to be an sp2 front (cant read part number) and I have 1 connection that is not working in the whole set up. Any input would be appreciated. I guess it's possible that someone sent me sp1 front but I am having trouble identifying and wanted to make sure it was not the rear harness issue.

I always thought the 02-06 were the SP2's and aside from different color fairings everything else was the same (04 had the silver frame as well, but that was again, just cosmetics). 00-01 were the SP1's and likely be a different harness but I never compared any of them.

While the SP2 wiring harnesses are the same, each year has a difference part number for inventory tracking.
From 2002-2006, the SP2 was essentially frozen except for cosmetics.

If it’s the connector that has a green and brown wire going to it it does not connect to anything. It is a service connector
