Haven't been here for a little while, but I have been riding! Sorry for not keeping up.

So, I bought my 2003 SP2 a bit over three years ago. Taking the advice of several forum members, I replaced the chain & sprockets for a lower (still high!) gear ratio, new brake lines, and then finally dove all the way in (financially!) for an Ohlins shock from Kyle. Four track days here in norcal also, often the oldest bike on the track.

So. I put about 60 miles on the bike today, mainly PCH/Rt. 1 Sonoma & Marin coast, and realized that I wanted a new seat. The 16-year old original has a small puncture from the PO, and the foam is still stiff but OK, but its slippery! I like being able to switch around during cornering transitions, but the seat is just a slide when accelerating or braking. I need some more traction for my butt! Checked Corbin and there is a good looking seat, but $363.

So. Suggestions?

Thanks.

The Corbin and Sargent seats aren't any good for hard riding , they're comfortable if you just sit still and yawningly roll down the road though. They cup your ass so they aren't conducive to moving around , but are comfortable if you sit still and ride like an old woman.
