That Hawk engine is ENSHRINED within the frame of my wife's beloved HAWK. A pristine motorcycle with only 16K on it! That bike, like the CBX, and RC 51 are keepers!!! Just love that Hawk, that little bike scoots!!!!!

My Hawk only has about 5000mi on the clock.....about 3000 track/race miles. Too bad it went BOOM about 5yrs ago and has been sitting in my basement ever since.

However.....a friend is trading me a very low mile hawk motor for a set of rearsets this weekend. Then that motor, along with my superbike heads and X8 cams are of to JWracepart for a bit of a rebuild. Then I have to decide to race it again or turn it into a streetbike. It would be nice if I can get back to the 70hp it had before the rod went.

Fun bikes for sure!!!

I hear you, those bikes are one of the best kept secrets of the '80's/90's, our
bike is nearly stock, the bike was upgraded with parts from a racer friend at my bike shop when he switched to an SV650 as his race ride. The bike's front end has the race-tech shock emulators, he was also offering an ohlins rear shock, but he wanted $700. used for the setup. A little pricey for a hack around bike.

I wish I'd never sold her...

All my other bikes have been snapped in some old-school format called 35mm, then printed on something called paper, so I'll have to scan them up at some stage.
The only one I can post up here was the last bike I owned before the SP2, my VTR1000 Firestorm (I think you all call them SuperHawks?). One of my very few regrets in life was selling her. She was modded just how I wanted, and we shared many great times. I know the new owner is treating her right and all, but I miss her.

I miss my yellow 'Storm every day. Let this be a less to y'all: don't sell your most beloved motorcycle for stupid financial reasons. Get a second job, rob a bank, pimp out your wife if you have to, but don't sell that bike...EVER!

lil project been workn on bit by bit.....96 f3....

will b selln soon but this was my first bike 91 honda cbr 600 f2.....

now i bought this 99 zx9r 2 use for a trackbike...love riding it on the street 2...im planning on trackdays this year so this will b the bike ill use...very fun bike as well...
