I really need the Measurments of rc51 sp1 rotors on oem wheels.

I need a rotor to rotor measurment preferbly outside to outside in millimeters using a micrometer/digital caliper.

Can anyone help! I would so greatly appreciate it. Im in a huge predicament without this measurment.:(

Freaking Awesome!:D Thanks thats exactly what I needed and exactly the measurement i was hoping for!

My thought is now if you take sp2 rotors and put them on an sp1 wheels. Will you get the same Measurement!?

Do the sp1 and sp2 rotors have the same offset? Can you swap rotors no problem and they will fit perfect?

On a side note I also heard cbr1000rr 06-07 rotors swap to rc51's is this true?

I need for sure answers no guesses.

MakisRC51- Thanks again! I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. with a picture and everything!!!! Thanks!

Man, anytime you want (and I can), don't think twice to ask for it.

All OEM RC51 rotors are identical and even though SP1 wheels are different designed from the SP2's, the size of them are the same.
CBRs 06-07 have 320mm diameter rotors (and they are much more beautiful IMHO) and they are a direct swap on a stock RC51's front fork/wheel ;)

If you see in my RC51's story, when I bought her I was running a set of CBR 04-05 rotors (was all I had available at the time) and they fitted perfectly. The problem was that they measure 310mm diameter so the brake pads wear uneven and at some point they contact each other on the 5mm left out strip and you cannot brake anymore
However even those rotors fit......bolts, wheel center etc etc.....

HONDA RULES!!!

You know I was kidding right? If I had one of those, I could throw away MY rusty old tape measure.
Of course I know you're kidding John.....we already have passed that "grey" point of misunderstanding ;)

Why don't you buy one?

I bought this 3 years ago from eBay for like $30 I think.

Just remember to take the battery of when you're not using it.....it drains it really fast and that sucker costs $5 (here at least
)

Awesome more great info! You are helping me out a ton!

I agree the cbr rotors are visually more pleasing. I figured if i needed RC51 rotors and the 06-07 cbr rotors were same diameter and offset then i would use those instead.

I have radial mounted caliper so the calipers cant slide to fit the rotors. so the rotors must have the same offset.

There are spacers for the radial calipers.

I used from the 06-07 Blade on my brackets cause they were made for 310mm rotors.

If I ever swap to 954's rotors I will make my own spacers though....:D
You kinda confused me there....

The 06-07 CBR1000RR rotors are 320mm diameter also all year Rc51 rotors are 320mm

06-07 and all rc51 rotors have the same offset.... am I getting this right?

Totally right!

The CBR 06-07 has the same front fork's inner tubes with the 04-05 so its calipers mountings need spacers to fit the 320mm rotors ;)
Same spacers that I used on my caliper mounts!

ok cool! Makes sense cause when searching for rotors rc51 0r 06-07 it more often then not states that the other will also fit.

Now to find some rotors! guess i will look for 06-07 cbr1000rr rotors being they look better.

Thanks MakisRC51! Is there a rep button somewhere??? lol

Galfers don't worth their money anyway.......

A pair of OEM Blade's 06-07 would be just fine and for track use, you can get a nice pair of Brembos for $500 of eBay.
Dont worry found some for slightly more than i can find oem 06-07s for.

figured for slightly more i could get these galfers instead. Galfers are better then oem right!?

I don't think so. I've had mine on for maybe a year, and I see signs of heat checking. And the color in general is just a little blue, not good. They've gotten hot. I used (on Galfer's strict recommendation) Galfer pads too.
I think OEM discs are probably a little better. I'm glad I kept mine.
