I am out of ideas. My sp1 is completely unrideable. It is tough to start, idles rough, ignores throttle input, and dies. The most obvious symptom is that it ignores throttle input. From idle if I slowly roll on the throttle, the idle goes from slightly rough to erratic and the rpm's do not change in the least. I can usually roll all the way to full throttle without the rpm's making it over 1500. If I very carefully tease the throttle I can get it to rev and have tried to ride it. It is jerks like crazy and has little to no power. I could barely get it over 20mph. 2 days ago it ran fine, easily pulled the front wheel in 2nd and had no issues that I noticed.

I have the manual printed out and it was no help. The FPR lines are connected.
Does it leak fuel from it's vacuum nozzle when you pull the vacuum hose off of it?

My first thought is fuel pressure regulator. Everything you said sounds like it.
Did you turn the key on to prime the pump when the vacuum hose was disconnected?
A faulty fpr doesn't always leak.
Has the bike sat for a while by chance?
Do you have any codes flashing?
