Who's using one?
What style do you have?
What brand do you have?
Where did you get it from?

I have never had one on my previous RC. I'm not sure if I need one on this one! I like the fact that my 07 CBR1000RR has one. I have one slight front wobble, if you call it that, at high speed with this RC.

Thoughts?

Mine came with a Scotts and I left it there. Previous owner was a WERA racer, and they require one. If I decide to go racing, I'm all set. Haven't found a reason to need one in regular usage. I ran into a TL rider at the track who said he cranks his pretty tight. Tight enough that he can pretty well let go of the bars mid corner. Not really sure about that...

My bike came with a Scotts rotary damper, which is very nice.
Scotts cautioned me that having the damping adjusted too firm on the steering damper can also induce head shake, which defeats the purpose.
Like the Goldilocks principle, not too little, not too much, but just enough to do the job.
