I'm new to the RC51. I just bought a beat up 2001. Been a GSXR guy since 2001, when my 900rr was stolen. I'm trying to remove the tank. I've been looking but can't find much. I saw a small part of a thread that said to cut the line and put in a quick disconnect. I don't remember seeing a return line, so do i just need 1? I need to know the most convenient place to cut the line, where to unhook the electrical, and what size disconnect I need. Thanks guys.

Here's a view of the tank showing the hose layout.
The fuel pump connector is on the left side behind the rear cowl near where the subframe mounts.

Probably best to try and siphon as much as possible out of the tank.
Otherwise, when you loosen the banjo you will have a possible mess on your hands.
There is no valve to stop flow.
