The Kyle Racing lower link (which is a copy of the Moriwaki link) changes the rear linkage rising rate ratio from progressive to linear.

Was originally designed for, and has greater effect on, the SP1's.
Has a beneficial, but lesser effect, on the SP2's as they had a revised ratio due to improvements from SP1 to SP2.

Enables better suspension adjustablility.
Also raises the rear about 14mm, and induces quicker turn-in response for corners.
Depending on rider weight, may require a stiffer spring rate.
