Hey guys,
I've been riding for a couple of yrs, and I currently own a '89 Hawk GT. I'm looking to get something sportier and more powerful so I'm really leaning towards a RC51. I would like to get a nice (enough) SP2 that's not too far away, but I probably won't make any decision till earlier in the spring.

So, send me your ad if your selling kinda close; even if its not exactly what I was looking for I'll take a look, and no harm done.

I definitely be reading a lot of stuff on here, and I'll be check the classifieds often. Would love to find a new bike.

Those Hawk GT (or NT650) are pretty reliable bikes.
I have a friend in Germany that has over 75K trouble-free miles on his.
Travels all over Europe on it, rain or shine.
Really good handling bike.

Yeah, the NT650 is a nice handling bike and runs like a champ most every time I need it (mine keeps having problems from being left in the rain for 10 yrs, most aren't hard fixes). The stock suspension isn't something to write home about and mine could still use a lot of upgrading. Love that bike, but like I said looking for something sportier. Might try to keep the hawk :)
